In 2010, the International Ensemble Modern Academy will take place for the 7th time within the framework of the festival of contemporary music - KLANGSPUREN Schwaz Tirol and remains one of the most successful projects of the festival.
The call for application is specifically targeted toward young musicians in the final stages of their training. Together with the Ensemble Modern teachers, conductor Franck Ollu and Heinz Holliger, this year’s composer-in-residence, the pieces mentioned in the folder will be rehearsed during the master class and performed in two concerts at the festival.
The following positions are covered in the repertoire:
conducting // flute – oboe – clarinet – bassoon – horn – trumpet – trombone – piano – percussion – harp – violin – viola – violoncello – double bass

2010 wird die Internationale Ensemble Modern Akademie bereits zum 7. Mal im Rahmen des Festivals zeitgenössischer Musik – KLANGSPUREN Schwaz Tirol stattfinden, und sie ist nach wie vor eines der erfolgreichsten und wichtigsten Projekte des Festivals.
Die Ausschreibung richtet sich in erster Linie an junge MusikerInnen, die am Ende ihrer Ausbildung stehen und sich der besonderen Herausforderungen, die die Musik des 20./21. Jahrhunderts an sie stellen wird, bewusst sind. Gemeinsam mit den DozentInnen des Ensemble Modern, dem Dirigenten Franck Ollu und Heinz Holliger, dem diesjährigen composer in residence, werden die im Folder genannten Stücke erarbeitet und in zwei Konzerten beim Festival zur Aufführung gebracht.
Folgende Positionen sind im diesjährigen Repertoire enthalten:
Dirigieren // Flöte – Oboe – Klarinette – Fagott – Horn – Trompete – Posaune – Klavier – Schlagzeug – Harfe – Violine – Viola – Violoncello - Kontrabass
